Big rain
Rainy season in SW Florida. Every day a chance of rain, usually isolated, but often heavy. Not uncommon to receive an inch of rain in fifteen minutes, with thunder and lightning, then minutes later, brilliant sunshine.
Earth Day
In appreciation of Mother Earth. An early morning walk in our backyard. A healthy environment is not to be taken for granted, but rather to be taken care of.

Dahoon holly
Crimson-red berries nestled among waxy green leaves sparkle on a Dahoon holly, growing plentiful among the ferns and cypresses of Corkscrew swamp.
