Sunday, Jan 09.    Today, Lisa and I move back to our studio apartment on Lizard Lane from our house-sitting opportunity at the edge of the forest on Monkey Road. It was nice having a home on the edge of village for awhile. We were able to see elephants, monkeys, a monitor lizard, kingfishers, bee-eaters, palm-nut vultures, ibises and egrets from our porch facing the jungle. Last night we arrived back from dinner out to find four elephants munching away on the bamboo growing alongside the house.
