    What a horrible thing. What can be done to stop it? Will anyone try to help this particular elephant? May I post this to facebook?

      I think education is the key. Teaching the next generation that animals have feelings and a right to live without needless pain and suffering.

    I always open your blog anticipating awesomeness, not this awfulness. The pain is so apparent. This couldn’t have been easy to photograph …

      The picture is a camera trap image, so I wasn’t first witness to this appalling sight. The worst is knowing that this elephant will suffer more and more as each day passes, until it finally dies. And worse still is knowing that this scene will repeat itself again and again.
