Liberia Presidential run-off election

Tuesday, December 26        Liberia voted in a Presidential run-off election between CDC (Congress for Democratic Change) candidate George Weah and UP (Unity Party) candidate Joseph Boakai. Turnout appeared to be lighter than the October 10 General Election of Presidential primary contenders and Representatives. Results are expected to be announced Friday, December 29.
