Swallow-tailed kites have left the skies over Florida, sailing for the tropics. I look forward to their return in the spring.

David,
I discovered your website after reading the Naples Florida Weekly article about Lisa. I really enjoyed seeing your photos from Corkscrew. I am an optometrist based in upstate NY, but my passion is nature photography. We have a seasonal home in Naples and I have spent close to 2 months a year there for the past decade (late Jan- mid March). I am changing website providers, but the blogs and the portraits of nature section on my original website have many images from Corkscrew and other natural habitats in the Naples area. Check it out if you have time. Wishing you and Lisa good luck in your new digs and hope to meet you some time. Keep posting!
Thanks Ron,
Lisa and I are turning a new house into a home, so I haven’t had much time to be out photographing. I’ll have a look at your website.
Call next time you are trekking the boardwalk at Corkscrew. Perhaps I will be able to meet up with you. David K: 320-443-4512.
Cheers, DK
